At **Wonderland Critters**, we believe that finding a new pet is an enchanting journey to discover a cherished new member of your family. Located south of the river in Western Australia, we lovingly raise the most magnificent **Giant Rabbits** and the most delightful **Guinea Pigs**, each one a unique character ready to bring a touch of everyday magic into your home.

Like creatures straight from a beloved fairytale, our **Giant Rabbits** possess an unparalleled blend of majesty and gentle affection.
Whether you are looking to find a free-roaming indoor companion, or eager to start your family's self sufficiency adventure, our magnificent giant rabbits are truly versatile!
For those who wish for a calm, affectionate presence to share their daily adventures, our gentle giants are intelligent, quickly learning routines, toilet training, (and with consistent training, even their names!) as well as being quiet, clean and adaptable. They are so much more than just rabbits; they are living storybook characters, eager to share their enormous, gentle hearts with you. They bond extremely well with children of all ages, as well as different critters of all shapes and sizes!
Beyond their indoor charm, our giant rabbits hold a special magic for those drawn to the path of self sufficiency. Their strong and diverse bloodlines (a mix of four giant breeds~ British Giant, Californian Giant, Flemish Giant, and New Zealand ) ensure they have been bred with hardiness and rapid growth rate in mind, as well as heat tolerance for even the hottest of Perth summers. They also provide ample nutrient rich, cold compost for a flourishing vegetable garden, making them important contributors to any homestead setting.
**Wonderland critters** have been carefully breeding our line of mixed-breed Giant rabbits for 9 years, and insist on keeping our very special Giants protected within a closed rabbitry.
. **A Fortress of Health & Purity:**
By remaining a closed rabbitry, we create somewhat of a barrier against the unseen but serious threats of illness (such as calicivirus, coccidiosis, myxomatosis, & mites ) and other curious maladies that might otherwise wander in from the outside world. This means no new rabbits are ever introduced from external sources, and strangers do not interact with our precious bunnies, drastically minimizing the risk of contagious diseases or unwelcome nasties entering our safe haven. Your future Giant will arrive from a lineage carefully protected within our strict confines.
**Uninterrupted Flourishing:**
Our Giants are allowed to grow, thrive, and develop their enchanting personalities in an environment free from external stresses and potential health threats.
**All Wonderland Rabbits will be a minimum of 8 weeks old before they are separated from their mother as the bacterial gut flora of baby rabbits not considered adequately developed until 8 weeks of age.
**All Wonderland Rabbits will be a minimum of 10 weeks old before leaving our care, so we can carefully monitor the baby's gastrointestinal health once removed from their Mummy-Rabbit's milk!
This dedicated focus on internal well-being allows us to meticulously monitor and maintain the robust genetics and joyful vitality that defines a true **Wonderland Giant.** Handled from birth, health checked regularly, provided with the correct nutrition and supplements, wormed and parasite treated, we take the time to match the each amazing personality to the family that fits best!

Each one is a gift of pure joy, just waiting to popcorn into your life!
In the enchanting world of our Guinea Pigs, we believe that Herd Living is what brings out the Sparkle of our tiniest little treasures. No Piggie ever feels like a lonely wanderer in our realm, as they simply weren't meant for solitary adventures. This is precisely why we cherish the **herd life** for our guinea pigs, ensuring they grow up surrounded by the comforting hum of their own kind.
Within the Herd, our young Piggies learn the vital "secret languages" of their kind. They observe and mimic social cues, understand the subtle nudges, the happy "wheeks" of excitement, and the art of polite vegetable-sharing. This continuous social interaction helps them develop into well-adjusted, confident, and delightful companions.
Our Piggies radiate happiness because they are never alone, always surrounded by the comfort and stimulation of their beloved herd.
**Boys are kept in a large separate herd of mixed ages, alongside the ladies, with a complex social structure and zero fighting. This is possible due to ample and stimulating living space, interesting and nutritious food on tap, and regular introduction of new males to encourage adaptability.
**All Wonderland Guinea Pigs will be a minimum of 4 weeks old before leaving our care.
**No Wonderland Guinea Pigs are completely purebred, ensuring a diverse range of genetics to minimize the risk of deformities and hereditary health issues.

Through careful genetic selection, optimal nutrition, regular health checks, worming and parasite prevention, we do our best to prepare our critters are robust and ready for a long, happy life.
